How to manually delete data from an Infrascale Cloud Backup Account

Introduction

There are two primary ways to manually delete data from an Infrascale Cloud Backup Account. You can delete data via the Online Backup and Recovery Manager or you can delete data via the Infrascale Dashboard. 

Data deleted this way can no longer be recovered. If a file or folder was deleted by accident, please contact Infrascale Support. 

How to manually delete cloud data on the Online Backup and Recovery Manager software

1) On the Online Backup and Recovery manager, click View/Restore.



2) Right click on the desired device, file, or folder.



3) Select Delete and click yes on the confirmation screen.

How to manually delete cloud data on the Infrascale Dashboard

1) Log into the Infrascale Dashboard using a backup account.

For partners who are managing accounts, this can be done by going to Endpoint Backup -> Backup Accounts -> Login as Backup Account


2) When logged in to the backup account dashboard, click on Cloud Data in the upper right.



3) To delete a device, click the X icon in the upper right of the device window, and then click Delete.




To delete a file or folder:
  1. Click on the target device.
  2. Navigate to the file or folder you wish to delete.
  3. Click the wheel icon to the right of the file or folder.
  4. Click Delete.





It will take from 30 minutes to 1 hour to free up space on the cloud after files, folders, or devices have been deleted
