How to manually run an ICB backup using the Infrascale Dashboard

Introduction

Once a backup has been configured using the Online Backup and Recovery Manager (OBRM), you can run a manual backup using the Infrascale Dashboard.

Instructions

1) Log in to the Infrascale Dashboard via the following URL:
Login To Infrascale Dashboard
2) After logging in, mouse over Endpoint Backup and then click on Protected Devices.

3) Click on the gear icon on the right side of the device you wish to run a manual backup for, and then click on the Run Backup.

In order to execute a backup, an active connection is required to the machine and the machine must be powered on. You can see if you have an active connection by checking for a green dot in the connection column. If the dot is grey, you will be unable to manually run a backup.

4) Select the type of backup.

Once the backup job is selected the backup job will initiate and as a confirmation you will see a pop-up on the top right-hand side of the dashboard. Below is an example confirmation message.
