How to remove an IBDR appliance from the Infrascale Dashboard

Introduction

It may be necessary to delete an IBDR Appliance from the Infrascale Dashboard in the following scenarios:
  • An appliance has been decommissioned.
  • An appliance is going to be decommissioned shortly.
  • An appliance is going to be used by a different customer.
These steps are only for removing the appliance from the Infrascale Dashboard. No data will be removed from the actual device and the appliance can be re-registered to the dashboard if needed.

Instructions

1) Log in to the Infrascale Dashboard.

The credentials to access the Infrascale Dashboard are NOT your local user credentials for the IBDR Appliance. If you do not have or have forgotten your Infrascale Dashboard credentials, please contact support.

2) Click on Disaster Recovery, then click on Site Summary. You will be redirected to the page with a list of all the appliances registered under your account.

3) Click on the blue gear icon to the right of the desired appliance and then click on Delete Appliance.

When you click on Delete Appliance, you will get a confirmation screen. To confirm the removal, click on the Delete button.

Once you click on the Delete button and refresh the web page in the browser, the IBDR Appliance line will be delete from Site Summary.
