How to update your password while logged in to the Infrascale Dashboard

Introduction

Passwords provide the first line of defense against unauthorized access to your computer and personal information. The stronger your password, the more protected your computer will be from hackers and malicious software.  In this article, we will provide the steps on how to change your password for the Infrascale Dashboard if you are able to log in to the account. 

Instructions

1) Log in to the Infrascale Dashboard via the following URL:

2)  Click on the drop-down arrow in on the top right corner and a dropdown menu will appear. In the menu, click on Change password.



3) Type in the Current password and the new password you wanted to change it to and click on Change password.

 



Passwords must be from 8 to 20 characters long and include:
- at least 1 digit
- at least 1 uppercase letter
- at least 1 lowercase letter
- at least 1 of the following special characters
(, ), !, @, #, $, %, \, ^, &, *

Passwords must not include sequences like:
- 111, aaa, or similar
- 123, 321, or similar
- pass, qwe, asd, zxc, iloveyou, admin, etc.
