How to perform a Disaster Recovery using the Hybrid Cloud

Introduction

In order to boot backup jobs as virtual machines in the Hybrid Cloud, it is necessary to start a DR (Disaster Recovery) Run from the Infrascale Dashboard. This action will initiate a boot and the initial setup of a DR Appliance in the Cloud. This article is a step-by-step guide on how to initiate a DR Run from the Infrascale Dashboard.

Instructions

1) Log in to the Infrascale Dashboard.
Notes
The credentials to access the Infrascale Dashboard are NOT your local user credentials for the IBDR Appliance. If you do not have or have forgotten your Infrascale Dashboard credentials, please contact Infrascale Support
If you need additional instructions on how to access the Infrascale Dashboard, please follow the steps from this article:

5) Once the model has been selected, click on Start DR Run in the right top corner of your screen.

6) A popup window will appear with the appliance information and credentials required for the initial login to the DR Appliance. Copy the password for the DR Appliance using the Copy to clipboard button.
